Heineman Myers contemporary art shows work that has a story or concept developed by contemporary (living) artists who have gained recognition by curators and collectors throughout the world, although not necessarily in the Washington, DC area.

Gallery artists have discovered a technique or process of communicating that is somehow uniquely their own, and they are developing that thread in their work, in whatever form it may take.

In addition to a dynamic exhibition and event schedule, the gallery welcomes visitors anytime to look through the flat files for works on paper and step into the back room to see what has recently arrived.  Please check the “News” page to for upcoming art happenings, and the “Exhibitions” page to see the entire exhibition history and schedule for the year ahead.

Heineman Myers provides art consultation services based upon individual and corporate needs.   Several artists accept commissions through the gallery; including Eric Finzi, Heidi Lippman, Nancy Scheinman, Foon Sham and Martha Zuik.   Please check the “Artist” pages to view works by these and other gallery artists.  Works are available unless marked sold.  Click on individual works to enlarge them and read a description, dimensions and price.

At no additional charge, Heineman Myers staff will deliver (and pick-up) works of art to your place, and let you try them out for a few days, (with a credit card approval).  Initial installation services are free of charge.

The gallery space is a lovely setting for your special event any day or night of the week.   “Daily Candy DC” (www.dailycandy.com) named Heineman Myers contemporary art as THE place to hold a wedding reception or rehearsal dinner in the 2007 Fall Wedding Guide.  Capacity is up to 150 standing, and up to 80 seated.   Red wine is welcome.  Please inquire about availability to info@heinemanmyers.com
