Scott Ponemone lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland. During his frequent travels around the world, Scott has been inspired to paint by architectural details. With this body of work however, he has turned his attention upward and has created a series of paintings reflecting the constant changes of the clouds all over the world. The artist describes his work as, “immense paintings of intimate scale, infinities in two dimensions, realities that easily appears abstract as though the pigments are fixed to the paper yet are always out of reach”.
